A Community of Worship and Mission

Chi Alpha Campus Ministries (XA for short) is a Christian outreach to students at The University of Montana. There are over 250 Chi Alpha campus groups in the U.S. along with many chapters around the world. UM Chi Alpha is a community of worship and mission.

Community

  • Life Groups – groups formed around common interests
  • Retreats – times to get-away & be refreshed physically and spiritually
  • Parties – BBQs, bonfires, theme events, game nights, etc…
  • XA Student Center – 5-6 students live in community & place for funv

Worship

  • Pursuit - weekly on-campus meeting for worship, message, connection
  • Discipleship Groups – small group gatherings for Bible study and prayer
  • Mentoring – weekly meetings with staff or veteran student leaders
  • Worship Nights – go deep times of worship, 24 hour, W.I.R.L.

Mission

  • Mini-Missions – weekend missions trips to locations around Montana
  • Spring Break Missions – week-long missions trips to Mexico or Canada
  • Summer Missions Expeditions – 2-3 week missions trips overseasv
  • Service Projects – help at food banks, shelters, nursing homes, etc…
  • Witnessing Projects - week of UM outreach, concerts, guest speakers
